The Sokoto State committees set up to plan for the swearing-in of the governor-elect, Mallam Aminu Tambuwal come May 29, said that they had completed their assignments . This is s contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Danladi Bako, the chairman of the publicity sub-committee and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Sokoto.
Tambuwal , the incumbent Speaker, House of Representatives, was elected the incoming governor of Sokoto State during the April 11 general elections. Bako, who is also the state Commissioner for Information, said in the statement that the event would hold at the Shehu Kangiwa Square in Sokoto.
It also said that all the other sub-committees set up to ensure the success the event had also concluded their assignments. The statement said that some of the personalities expected at the occasion would include the members of the national assembly ,diplomats and a delegation from Niger Republic. The statement urged the members of the public that would want to grace the occasion to be law abiding before, during and after the ceremony.
