Why do we even need the other three of the Fantastic Four when we've got real life superhero Miles Teller patrolling the waters of the Atlantic Ocean?

Just a couple months away from the release of the rebooted Fantastic Four, in which the Whiplash star plays Mr. Fantastic, Teller sprung into action when a pregnant woman and her young daughter were caught in a riptide. The 28-year-old was enjoying a day at the Soho House beach with his girlfriend, Keleigh Sperry, when they noticed the pair struggling against the tide.

"Miles and Keleigh were in the water together and Miles noticed a woman who was in distress. She had her daughter (who was 2 or 3 years old) on her back and the riptide was keeping her from getting to shore," an eyewitness told The Insider With Yahoo. "The woman went under the water and Miles grabbed the woman, with her daughter on her back, and pulled them to shore. The water was shallow, but the woman just panicked."
"The tide in this area is known to be strong," the source added, noting that the venue's newly-hired lifeguards just watched Teller make the save. "When Miles dragged the woman to shore, Keleigh had her hand over her heart for about 10 minutes, thankful he helped. ... They all talked for about 10 minutes and the mom with her kid went back to their hotel."

According to Keleigh, the pregnant woman feared a shark in addition to having difficulty battling the tide.
"She came up to us freaking out telling us to not freak out but It was a shark," Sperry wroteon Instagram about the incident. "And the scariest moment ever hahah poor lady. :(( pregnant with a toddler on her back."
Teller has been in Miami filming Arms and the Dudes with Jonah Hill. The pair play two real-life arms dealers who are contracted by the U.S. government to supply weapons for American allies in Afghanistan.

Perhaps for his next role, Teller can play a lifeguard.
