Russia Offers £33m Reward Over Jet Bombing

Two airport workers have been arrested in Sharm el Sheikh on suspicion of helping those responsible for the attack on Metrojet Flight 9268.

Egyptian security officials say a total of 17 people have been detained following the 31 October attack, although only two are suspected of aiding those who planted a bomb aboard the plane.

"Seventeen people are being held, two of them are suspected of helping whoever planted the bomb on the plane at Sharm el Sheikh airport," one of the officials said.

The arrests follow confirmation from Russia that last month's crash, which killed 224 people, was caused by a terrorist act.

The Federal Security Service (FSB) said a bomb went off on the plane, causing it to crash in the Sinai Peninsula on 31 October.
