Celine Dion Looking Pale & Somber In First Pic After Husband Rene Angelil’s Death

Poor Celine Dion! We’re getting our first look at the singer who just had two heartbreaking losses, with both her husband and brother dying of cancer in a matter of days, and she looks understandably devastated.So sad! Brave Celine Dion was spotted getting on a plane to fly out of Las Vegas and back home to Montreal, Canada where her late husband Rene Angelil‘s funeral will take place on Jan. 22. She lost her “one and only boyfriend” to a long battle with throat cancer on Jan. 14 at age 73. As if that wasn’t a great enough loss for her, Celine’s 59-year-old brother Daniel Dion died from the same disease a mere two days later, on Jan. 16. We can’t imagine the amount of loss the talented songbird must be feeling right now.
Celine looked pale and exhausted as she boarded a plane home to give Rene his final farewell, wearing minimal make up with her hair pulled back in a tight bun. Her long black sweater and trim black leggings show she’s still in mourning for her husband of 21 years. But the “Because You Loved Me” singer was still able to muster up hugs from several friends a the airport. We’re sure she’s going to be getting plenty more as she returns home for Rene’s service.
