Kendrick Lemar on His Grammy Nominations; “I Want to Win Them All”

February’s Billboard cover star is none other than 11-time Grammy nominee Kendrick Lamar not trying to front or shy away from his ambitions.The “Alright” rapper was clear about his feelings for his nominations, saying, “I want to win them all.” His stack of nominations is still a huge honour, and he acknowledges this. “It’s bigger than me. When we think about the Grammys, only Lauryn Hill and OutKast have won Album of the Year. This would be big for hip-hop culture at large.”
He’s up four nominations from the seven he scooped in 2014 and only one less than Michael Jackson’s record twelve nominations from Thriller in 1984.
