A man has been charged with aggravated battery after he allegedly tipped a pot of boiling water over his girlfriend's son and his boyfriend as they slept.Police say Martin Blackwell, 48, scalded Marquez Tolbert, 21, and partner Anthony Gooden, 23, as they rested at Gooden's mother's home in College Park, Georgia, after a day's work.
During the 12 February attack, Blackwell - who was a guest at the apartment - allegedly told his victims: "Get out of my house with all that gay."
The pair suffered second- and third-degree burns to their backs, heads and necks.
Both had to undergo skin grafts from other parts of their body.
According to a police report, Blackwell told officers: "They was stuck together like two hot dogs, so I poured a little hot water on them and helped them out.
"They was stuck like two hot dogs. They'll be all right; it was just a little hot water."
He is in custody at Fulton County Jail.
