The movie that DC fans have been waiting decades for is finally in production. According to Entertainment Weekly, Warner Bros. has confirmed that Justice League – Part 1 will begin shooting on April 11th, seventeen days after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justicehits theaters in the United States.

SPECTRE reportedly needs to make $US650 million ($A909.66 million) at the global box office to break even, raising questions once again on the phenomenal price tags of movies.

According to Variety, the latest James Bond movie cost $US250 million to make and $US100 million has been spent on promotions.

But industry executives say there’s a higher price tag to break even because the film’s backers have to split revenues with exhibitors.
Although it is difficult to determine a film’s budget, especially when you consider inflation, here is a list of some of the most expensive films ever made, according to IMDb and Forbes.
